Prior to joining Sheley, Hall & Williams as a partner in 2013, David Lester practiced law at a multinational law firm where he focused primarily on leasing and commercial real property development and construction. David’s practice continues to be heavily concentrated on commercial leasing in an assortment of industries and includes representation of numerous landlords and tenants in lease negotiations for a variety of venues such as retail, general office, ground, and tower leases.
In addition to his leasing expertise, David also represents a wide array of commercial development-oriented client needs, including real property acquisitions and dispositions, like-kind exchanges, construction contracts, easements, and other project construction matters. While the majority of his time is devoted to leasing and project development, David also enjoys advising clients on day-to-day corporate issues involving real property, lease disputes, easements, environmental hazards, condemnations and other property-specific concerns.
