Taylor Broun focuses his practice in commercial real estate transactions. He has represented developers, investors, banks, and various governmental entities in a wide variety of commercial transactions including but not limited to the acquisition, financing, construction, and sales of various commercial, industrial, and institutional real estate developments; the drafting and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements and commercial leases; and the formation of business partnerships.
In addition, Taylor has represented investors and syndicators in the negotiation of equity partnerships involving the development of new and rehabilitated affordable housing real estate projects and historic rehabilitation real estate projects located in the states of Georgia and South Carolina that utilize federal and state low income housing tax credits (LIHTC) and historic rehabilitation tax credits (HTC).
Prior to joining Sheley, Hall & Williams P.C., Taylor was a partner at Jones Cork, LLP law firm in Macon, GA. Taylor also previously worked with the law firms King & Spalding, LLP in Atlanta, GA, and Spivey, Pope, Green & Greer, LLC in Macon, GA.
Taylor lives in Athens, GA with his wife and their daughter and son. In his free time, Taylor enjoys fly-fishing, hunting, golfing, attending Braves baseball games, and cheering on the Georgia bulldogs.
